Hi, I have created a rekordbox dj template, it worked perfectly.

At the end I decided to add two animated GIFs to the template, but since I saved the template, Chameleon quits when I try to load the project.

I worked days on this, is there a way to remove the gifs from the template, and make it loadable again?

Hi Tom.
There is no way you can fix this in easy way. You can send the template file and also the gift file in case i need in order I can debug and fix the problem and also your template. Your template wont be shared, of course will be nice if later you can share the template with the community. If you prefer send to me trough email to savethehuman5@hi.computer

Got the mail and already see what cause the problem.
Is a older bug related with GDI, related to big size animated GIF, and is really hard to solve.

As a solution instead of waste time to address this issue with animated GIF (at least in the near time), I add soon a image decoration VIDEO object, what for sure open the possibilities to do more nice things than a simple animated GIF and is more appropriate for complex or large animations.

Until that happen there is a simple workaround if this happen to you again or to any other user and template is locked. All what do you need is download this GIF (right click and choose save image as)

Rename this GIF to original name of your animated GIF (if template use multiple GIF then create multiple GIF using this provided), then place and replace original GIF files if already exist in the folder:
Documents > Chameleon > Config > Tmp

Now you can load the template, template works, delete the images decoration cause the problem.
Create a new decoration images, with optimized GIF.

In your case, already sent optimized files to you, check your mail, place the files I send to you.
I optimized using a online tool, in your case i reduce the size of GIF with value 60.

If want a permanent fix in of your template, delete the decoration images, crate again using the provided images, or optimize your images.

Finally we not have a rekordbox template, if you can be nice share your template with that community with all documentation.
You have no obligation to share it, but it would be useful to other users.

Thanks Pablo, that GIF is me when I realized that the template saved my gifs to a separate folder, so I tried to optimize the original ones, while the template wanted to load the ones from the tmp folder. It's sorted now, thank you for your fast support.

The video decoration would be great!

I made a video promo yesterday, while using my self-made touch glass with Chameleon, although I wanted to use my template I ended up using your Traktor template, I'll share that one with you once the edit is finished.

Regarding the rekordbox template I'll share it with the forum, let me perfect a few things and test it properly.

Remember delete the image object containers, create again and save when all works ok.
Otherwise the template not have inside the correct GIF.

For sure when have a video in simple place to see your promos or your sets, send the links or publish here, i always like to see what users are doing.
