Most recent release Chameleon wont launch on Windows 8.1

Hi. The latest release of Chameleon won't launch on Windows 8.1 after a clean image install.

I have Windows 10 on another PC but I wont be able to install until the weekend.

From the first day software back I inform the same.

There is some new characteristics in the internal core of the software basically require Windows 10, i think that finally broken compatibility with 7 and 8. 
The good news is this new internal changes allow to do a lot of new things everybody see soon.</r>

Anyway, try reactivate first, the software need be reactivated.
Run the lic manager and reactivate, maybe you are lucky and continue working on windows 8.
I dont stay 100% ensure if windows 8 have or not what is needed, maybe yes.

Please confirm.

Some users report software work under Windows 7 and windows 8, I can’t guarantee compatibility in future versions

I leave that text for few weeks, then just remove and leave Windows 10, and maybe in the near future the app only support 64bit OS, I confirm that later.
Anyway I dont know anybody at this days using 32 bit version of Windows 10

I have Chameleon installed on two Pcs . It's on a multi monitor Windows 8.1 desktop & a Lenovo touchscreen tablet with Windows 10.
The tablet has a maximum resolution of 1366 by 768 & Chameleon works at that resolution but I don't it use like that. It's connected to a 21 inch touch screen via display port .

Chameleon License activation.

I usually have to input my details in the license activation tab. I didn't need to type anything for the recent version.It just accepted me after I clicked it.

Users & older operating systems.

Ive used Chameleon on Windows 8.1 since 2019. It can also be used at lower resolutions despite recommendations from the developer. I agree that it's time for more strict control for a better experience.But Windows 10 & the updates is troublesome for musicians & worse if your Daws or plug in's use ilok or e licensers etc. Experienced users can disable updates but that may also cause issues.That's one the reasons why many have not.. or.. refuse to upgrade or update.

Summary.

The previous version of Chameleon worked on Windows 8,1 & Windows 10. Newer versions will be more strict with system requirements.

Tests

I have some Windows 10 image files on my desktop PC but I wont be able to test anything till next weekend.They will also need updating & I will also have to contact Steinberg for new e licenses for Cubase.

Maybe need access to that machine trough teamviewer in order to debug this strange problem.
I no able to reproduce this issue here.
Will be that possible?
