Can Elephant modify node position horizontal/vertical?

Hi!

I am a new user, and am loving Elephant + Surface Dial using Cubase 12.0.30 in W10.

One question please: When manipulating nodes/"dots" like EQ nodes or automation points: currently turning the Dial makes the node move on a diagonal only.

Is there some way I can tell it to move only horizontally, or only vertically?

I'm thinking using the Xtra Button1and 2 settings in control panel might be what I need to use to do this, but I'm not understanding how to access the Xtra Button1and 2 on my Kensington trackball.

Choose horizontal or vertical mode.
Really sorry, I cant support a lot with Kensington trackball duet I not own one, maybe your mouse wont send standard xtra buttons mouse events.
XTRA buttons events ae easy accesible usually and not require nothing special.
If your mouse support program hotkeys, another feature usually available for advanced mouse, you cna use that for switch of mode using your mouse.
