Hi, I was running some test in Bome with some slider set in pitchbend mode and I was very sad to see this:
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 69 69
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 6A 6A
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 6B 6B
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 6C 6C
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 6D 6D
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 6E 6E
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 6F 6F
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 70 70
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 71 71
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 72 72
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 73 73
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 74 74
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 75 75
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 76 76
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 77 77
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 78 78
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 79 79
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 7A 7A
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 7B 7B
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 7C 7C
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 7D 7D
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 7E 7E
 MIDI IN [Chameleon-2]: E0 7F 7F
We can clearly se that the two bytes of the pitchbend are always the same which means we only have 127 possible value instead of the 16383 we should have. So in mcu my fader change are stepped and I guess the bend will not be smooth on a synth.
For me 127 value is just not enough for precise control, by the way did you consider making an option ton send cc on 14bit? I don't know for the other daw but cubase/nuendo can definitely read these.
