And yes, I’m still here, but I’m certainly not disconnected from what’s happening with AI. I use AI tools every day, but with a lot of caution, and I’m not doing what they call “vibe coding.” In the future, it will probably be possible to create high-quality code through what they call vibe coding. For now, though, I still read the code, even though I’m writing less and less of it.
Knowledge is vital. That’s why, for the time being, I consider “vibe coding” to be something not very serious for any software that is intended to be serious. That will certainly change, and it’s already changing.
Regarding the MIDI changes, yes, there have been quite a few problems with this change. I trust Microsoft will solve them, just as they are doing with Windows 11. The latest updates are fixing many issues.
