Sam I have ready probably this night MCU display, ASAP I have ready and fully tested, I publish a MCU template.
I think will be more useful for you, for sure the knobs used are encoders, and value per channel appear on the MCU display.
More info soon.

This is specific LCD display Mackie, with this display full support to Mackie is completed, and I provide a full working template for direct use or for check how all is mapped.
OSC suopport already started on background, take some time.

Sam I think this will be useful for you in your project.
Probably you just need 8 sliders, with encoders, solo mute etc, and only the 2 butons for jump of banks 1/8 to 9/16 / etc .

I decide change the look of the LCD display to something more readable instead try mimic a LCD.......what for sure have more sense duet the priority is make more useful and readable.
The time display be released later is very buggy right now, need make some changes and test more.
